| The Pharmacology & Toxicology team is performing tests for efficacy and toxicity of new materials developed by synthesis and natural product extraction. It is conducting in vitro studies using cell lines, microbes and enzymes and in vivo studies using mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, beagle dogs as well as nude mice. At the pre-clinical stage, ADME, general pharmacology, toxicity tests for compounds selected as drug candidates are performed. Furthermore, supporting experiments are also given for the fine chemistry and polymer fields. |
